Job summary

MetLife in Noida is seeking a qualified accounting professional with 4–6 years of experience in accounting, reporting and reconciliations, focused on derivatives. You will handle monthly/ quarterly entries, reconciliations, and GAAP reporting under US GAAP guidelines.

The role demands strong MS Excel skills, attention to accuracy, and collaboration across departments to ensure timely closing and data integrity. Knowledge of AI/Alteryx initiatives is a plus.

Qualifications

• Commerce graduate with 4–6 years of experience in accounting, reporting and reconciliation.
• Experience handling derivative accounting and US GAAP requirements is preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monthly/quarterly accounting entries for derivatives cash accounts and daily hedge settlements under US GAAP.
• Overdraft analysis and processing FXCM and inter-account money movements.
• Coordinate across departments to clear cash open items.
• GAAP and STAT accounting and reporting activities.
• Monthly/quarterly reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Balance sheet certifications.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and complete special requests.
• Plan workflow for month/quarter-end deliverables.
• Support financial analysis and data integrity.
• Document procedures and processes.
• Support AI and Alteryx initiatives.

Position Summary

• This role requires 4-6 years of experience in the financial industry. Responsibilities include reporting, accounting and reconciliation activities for derivative products.

Job Responsibilities

• Monthly/ quarterly accounting entries for various derivatives cash accounts and daily settlements of hedges as per US GAAP.
• Overdraft Analysis, Processing FXCM and money movements among accounts.
• Coordinating among various departments for cash open items clearance.
• GAAP and STAT Accounting and reporting activities.
• Monthly and quarterly reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Performing Balance sheet certifications.
• Complete special requests and ad-hoc reports as requested.
• Plan workflow for all deliverables in advance of month/ quarter end.
• Support financial analysis/reporting and the integrity of financial data.
• Document procedures and processes.
• Support process improvement consistent with AI and Alteryx initiatives.

Education-

Commerce Graduate

Experience (In Years)-

4-6 years of work experience in Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliations.

Technical Skills
