Job summary

MetLife is seeking an experienced finance ERP professional in India (Uttar Pradesh) to design and implement data conversion reconciliations for GL, bank, and sub-systems. The role involves cross‑functional collaboration, updating templates, and supporting end‑to‑end project phases including post‑go‑live stabilization.

Key expertise includes PeopleSoft/ERP and Workday, R2R/GL processes, and strong Excel/office skills.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate / Graduate in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimum 8-10 years’ work experience.
• Experience with AI tools such as CoPilot or other available tools to assist with the reconciliation process.
• Experience with data conversion and reconciliation efforts leveraging mapping tables.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and building of data conversion reconciliations for GL, Bank and sub-system data.

• Assist in the ERP Modernization effort to migrate from PS ERP and GDI to Workday Financials and Accounting Center.

• General understanding of multi-currency accounting / conversion/ Revaluation/ Translation processes
• General understanding of year end roll forward concepts
• General understanding of accounting periods/system calendars
• Strong knowledge and experience of MS Excel/ office applications
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and validation skills
• Ability to work independently in a global, cross‑functional environment
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Collaboration with Finance and Technology teams
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
