Job summary

Envirocare Labs Pvt Ltd in Verna, Goa, is seeking a seasoned microbiology analyst to conduct microbiological analyses, manage lab resources, and maintain precise data records. The role includes SOP development support, 5S-based lab hygiene, and mentoring junior staff.

Candidates should hold a BSc or MSc in Microbliology with 7-8 years of relevant experience and will work at our Verna, Goa facility. This is an on-site position focused on quality testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Microbiological Analysis of samples according to tasks and approved methods within the given turnaround time (TAT).
• Resource Management: Ensure the availability of necessary resources such as media, chemicals, and equipment, and maintain inventory records.
• Documentation and Data Review: Maintain accurate records, timely update documents, review raw data, and assist in validating final test reports.
• SOP and Method Development: Assist in the preparation, updating, and implementation of SOPs, standards, and relevant testing methods.
• Laboratory Maintenance: Follow 5S principles to maintain lab hygiene, cleanliness, and order to prevent contamination.
• Training and Guidance: Support junior and trainee analysts by providing guidance and training, and supervising their work.
• Equipment and Sample Handling: Conduct equipment checks, handle troubleshooting, and manage sample storage, retention, and proper disposal
