Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in India seeks an Assistant Manager in Materials or Purchasing to help run the department in line with corporate strategies and brand standards. You will support the Materials Assistant Manager in planning, procurement, and vendor development to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has a university degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism management, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Asst. Manager in Materials or Purchasing, or as Team Leader in larger operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
• Assist the Materials Assistant Manager in the planning and procurement of material, including vendor development and administration of contracted services in accordance with the hotel policy and procedures.
