Job summary

Paytm is hiring for a field sales role in Rajasthan to engage with premium merchants, drive adoption of Paytm’s payment solutions, and promote revenue growth in the assigned area. You will resolve merchant issues, coordinate with the team on daily plans, and gather market feedback to stay ahead of competition.

The role requires self-motivation, ownership, and comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fintech or related field preferred.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of local geography of the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Engage with premium merchants and track portfolio in the assigned area.
• Meet sales targets for payments solutions like QR codes and POS.
• Drive product penetration and revenue growth for Paytm solutions.
• Promote the brand and enable new business lines in the marketplace.
• Monitor merchant grievances and ensure timely resolution.
• Plan and execute day-to-day activities with the team and review deliverables.
• Gather market feedback and insights on competition.
• Deploy products and articulate benefits at client locations to boost sales.

Job description

• Engaging with Premium merchants like portfolio tracking, merchant communication, and ensuring service is delivered in the assigned area for assigned merchants.
• Meeting sales targets of multiple payment solutions such as QR codes, EDC/card swipe machines, point of sales software, insurance, and other financial products
• Ensuring product penetration along with revenue growth.
• Enabling the new business line and promoting the brand in the marketplace.
• Track and attend to merchants' grievances and ensure they are resolved on time.
• Plan and execution of day-to-day activities along with the team and review the team's deliverables.
• Gathering consistent feedback from the market for existing offerings and insights into the competition
• Deployment of products and articulation of benefits & best practices at client locations, ensuring customer satisfaction leading to higher sales conversions and retention.
• Self-starters who can take ownership without hand holding and are comfortable navigating ambiguity will be an ideal fit.
• Passionate about working in a fast-growing firm and ready to get their hands dirty. Articulate complex solutions to novice customers.
• Fintech experience or same field experience candidates to be prioritized. Honesty and trustworthiness are the most important virtues.
