Job summary

AECOM in India is seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to lead PMC services for port and Inland Water Transport infrastructure projects. You will establish and oversee project monitoring and MIS frameworks, review schedules, resources, milestones, and progress reports, and ensure adherence to standards and contractual requirements.

The role demands data-driven decision making, risk identification, and cross-functional leadership to deliver objectives on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master's Degree / PGD in Project Management, Construction Management, Infrastructure Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for port or IWT infrastructure projects.
• Establish and oversee project monitoring and MIS frameworks for effective project tracking.
• Review project schedules, resource plans, milestones, and progress reports.
• Monitor project performance against scope, cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and government stakeholders.
• Prepare periodic management reports, dashboards, and status updates for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Identify project risks, propose mitigation measures, and monitor implementation.
• Support decision-making through data analysis, project control tools, and performance metrics.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely delivery of project objectives.

Education
