Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA in Mohali, Punjab, India is seeking a Team Lead – RTR to oversee Record-to-Report activities including General Ledger, Fixed Assets and intercompany, as well as local and global reporting.

You will prepare standalone and consolidated IND AS/US GAAP/IFRS financial statements, finalize monthly and quarterly reports under US GAAP, and act as Accounting Officer for audits, while improving processes and guiding the RTR team.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/ICWA or MBA Finance with US GAAP/IFRS knowledge.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Agribusiness/commodity trading preferred.
• Ability to partner with SSC/BBS teams to optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of RTR activities including G/L, fixed assets, intercompany, reporting, tax filing and period-end close.
• Prepare standalone and consolidated IND AS/US GAAP/IFRS financial statements with notes.
• Finalize monthly/quarterly reporting (Balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) per US GAAP incl. 10-K schedules.
• Act as Accounting Officer to manage US GAAP audit of the entity.
• Lead the team to deliver output on SLAs and supervise performance assessments.
• Evaluate, reconcile and resolve complex accounting transactions and account reconciliations.
• Drive continuous process improvements and policy development for RTR.
• Coordinate with internal/external groups affecting RTR and align roles.

Reporting to: Manager - RTR

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely completion of activities as part of the Record-to-Report (RTR) function – Accounting (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany), Local & Global reporting, Tax filing & reporting, Period-end close & reporting and Master data management.
• Preparation of standalone and consolidated IND AS/US GAAP/IFRS financial statements for statutory reporting along with related schedules and notes to accounts.
• Responsible for finalization of monthly and quarterly reporting (Balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) as per US GAAP including 10k reporting schedules under US Security Exchange Commission.
• Act as an Accounting Officer to manage US GAAP audit of the entity.
• Manage the team performance and ensure delivery of timely output as per the defined SLAs.
• Accountable for evaluating, reconciling, and resolving complex accounting transactions and ensuring reconciliations of accounts.
• Monitor and measure the performance of the RTR business process in the Mohali Centre.
• Improve the business process flow on a continual basis utilizing industry leading practices.
• Help Team Leaders setting policies and procedures for the RTR process.
• Act as key contact person for all internal and external groups (Bunge Global, Counterparties and Statutory team) which affect / are affected by the RTR process.
• Ensure role alignment of individuals.
• Facilitate performance assessments and conducts feedback sessions.
• Determine and adjusts team and individual performance measures.
• Support in decisions related to monetary and non-monetary compensation / rewards within established guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with Group’s Sarbanes Oxley programme and Standard Policy and Procedures.

• Experience in SAP FICO
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education & Experience

• Chartered Accountant or CPA, ICWA, MBA Finance, additional certification in US GAAP or IFRS will be an advantage.
• 6+ years of work experience in a similar role
• Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred
• Ability to partner with other BBS Team Managers to optimize processes across the SSC
• Ability to manage the BBS vision and purpose
