Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED in Maneja, Gujarat, India, is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to oversee end-to-end order-to-dispatch processes. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and SCM to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 12-15 years in engineering or 15-20 years with a Diploma, with project/order management experience in power equipment (switchgear/transformers) and strong leadership of small teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in engineering (Electrical preferred) with 12-15 years of experience, or Diploma with 15-20 years of experience.
• Experience in project management / order management in switchgear/transformers industry.
• Excellent communications, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in leading teams of 3-4 people.

Responsibilities

• Customer assistance: resolve issues by coordinating with Sales, Operations, SCM and other internal/external teams; coordinate with After-Sales/Spare Parts.
• Customer requests: recommend solutions and coordinate with related teams to ensure complete handling (production capability, scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice).
• Customer relations: inform customers about status and ensure a positive experience throughout the process.
• Responsible for all projects assigned for self and team – from order booking to dispatch (Sales order booking, drawing approvals, manufacturing schedules, FAT, payment, SAP invoicing, dispatch).
• Responsible for revenue and collection for allocated region for self and team.

Main Accountabilities:

1. Customer assistance: Ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g., order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinates resolution with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams.

Your background
