Job summary

Hitachi Energy in India is seeking an experienced professional to manage customer accounts in the electrical equipment sector. The role covers order booking, manufacturing scheduling, FAT, payment, SAP invoicing and dispatch, coordinating with Sales, Operations, and After-Sales teams.

Candidates should have 12-15 years in electrical engineering with bachelor's, strong communication, analytical and leadership skills, and experience managing 3-4 person teams; SAP/S4 Hana experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering (Electrical preferable) with 12-15 years of experience or Diploma with 15-20 years of experience.
• Experience in project management / Order management from switch gear / transformers industry.
• Excellent communications / analytical and problem-solving skill with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience of handling teams of 3-4 people.

Responsibilities

• Customer assistance: Ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g., order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams. Coordinates resolution with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams.
• Customer requests: Recommends appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place.
• Customer relations: Proactively informs customers about status based on input and clarifies any questions. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.
• Responsible for all the projects assigned for self and team – from order booking to dispatch – Including but not limited to. Sales order booking /Drawing approvals / manufacturing schedules / Including FAT / Payment / SAP invoicing/Dispatch.
• Responsible for Revenue and collection for allocated region for self and team.
