Job summary

UPL Limited, a leading agro chemical company, seeks a Maintenance Engineer for its Dahej site in Gujarat to oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps, compressors, reactors, pipelines, and related equipment.

You will drive high equipment uptime, manage daily maintenance activities, coordinate with production, control spare parts inventory, and ensure strict EHS compliance, PTW and LOTO procedures, while planning CAPEX and civil maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps, compressors, reactors, pipelines, and other equipment.
• Ensure high equipment uptime and quick resolution of failures.
• Manage daily maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards, Permit to Work (PTW), and Lockout Tagout (LOTO) systems.
• Plan shutdowns and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Control spare parts and inventory.
• Coordinate with production and other departments.
• Handle all mechanical maintenance and shutdown activities at the site.
• Prepare and plan capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
• Manage civil maintenance and small CAPEX activities.
• Possess knowledge of Swashya culture transformation pillars to effectively perform the CFT role.
