Job summary

Sanmina-SCI Systems de México seeks a STeam Lead / Senior Manager / Manager IPQA to lead and mentor the IPQA team, driving process and product quality to meet customer expectations.

The role requires BE or Diploma with relevant electronics engineering, 12-20 years of experience, and strong communication and leadership skills in a electronics manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the IPQA team and cross-functional teams.
• Work with management to set IPQA goals and objectives.
• Review and interpret customer requirements.
• Interact closely with customers.
• Maintain and continually improve process and product quality.
• Lead quality topics in customer meetings.
• Ensure quality records are maintained.
• Drive process audits for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to defined processes.
• Drive corrective actions for major defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for DPPM and RTY improvements.
• Participate in EHS activities such as aspects/impacts and emergency preparedness.

Role:

The Role of the Senior Manager / Manager – IPQA is to lead & mentor the IPQA Team to maintain and improve Process/Product Quality & drive the Organization to meet the Customer expectations.

Academic Qualification / Job Qualification:

1. BE with Electronics & Communication / Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 12-16 Years Experience
2. Diploma with Electrical and Electronics / Electronics & Communication with 14-20 Years Experience

Skills / competence required to perform the Job:

1. Good Communication & interpersonal skills
2. Must be able to communicate closely with Customers, Corporate & External Agencies

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and coordinate the Team members & CFT on IPQA activity.
2. Work with Management to set the goals & objectives related to IPQA
3. Review & understand Customer requirements
4. Interact & work closely with Customers.
5. Maintain and continually improve process / Product Quality
6. Lead the meeting with Customers of Quality topics.
7. Ensure that the Quality records are maintained.
8. Drive process audit for continuous improvement.
9. To ensure the adherence to the defined processes.
10. To drive corrective actions for Customer & internal major defects.
11. To work with cross functional team for DPPM improvements.
12. To work with cross functional team for RTY improvements.
13. Active participation in EHS related activities like Identification of aspects and Impacts, HIRA, Emergency preparedness, continuous improvements etc

Authority:

1. Authorized to take timely decisions to ensure compliance to QMS requirements in manufacturing process.
2. Authorized to trigger corrective actions in the Organization wherever there is Non fulfillment of the requirement.
3. Authorized for the line stop & shipment hold in case of major quality deviations which will impact the Customers
