Futops is seeking a senior engineering manager to lead a CCaaS-focused team in Gurugram. You will own the service end-to-end, drive architectural decisions, and deliver new capabilities while maintaining stability.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong C#/.NET production experience, and a track record with regulated environments (PCI DSS/SOC 2). You will work with a UK Product Manager to translate roadmaps into executable plans, produce designs for sign-off, and ensure delivery within

Responsabilidades

• Provide product support with proper out-of-hours cover.
• Collaborate with UK Product Manager to plan roadmaps and estimates.
• Produce technical designs and obtain sign-off; adapt to changing priorities.
• Flag technical risks and blockers to Senior Engineering Manager.

HIRING FOR OUR GLOBAL CLIENT

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Own your team's service(s) end-to-end. Architecture, build, deployment, monitoring and day-to-day operational health, within company's established engineering standards
• Make technical decisions within your domain, acting as the first line of technical judgement before anything reaches wider architecture review
• Keep existing functionality stable while delivering new work in parallel
• Make sure your team produces and keeps the evidence needed for PCI DSS and other compliance audits (change records, test evidence, sign-offs) as a standard part of delivery
• Stay hands-on, personally contributing to delivery of key initiatives
• Ensure that AI is used throughout the development process to enhance productivity without sacrificing quality
• Act as direct line manager to the engineers in your team, including regular 1:1s, performance management, day-to-day coaching and career development
• Support your products along with your team, ensuring that there is proper cover out of hours
• Work directly with the UK-based Product Manager to turn roadmap and requirements into a workable technical plan, and take charge of estimation and planning activities to build realistic plans
• Produce technical designs for your team's work, present them to the Senior Engineering Manager for sign-off, and see them through to delivery as priorities or real-world issues change
• Proactively flag technical risks and blockers to the Senior Engineering Manager before they become critical

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

• Deep, hands-on experience with CCaaS platforms in production, from an application/API integration perspective
• Have led or delivered integrations between a CCaaS/contact-centre platform and external systems
• Experience directly line managing engineers (1:1s, performance feedback, coaching and career development), or clear aptitude for it
• Hands-on senior-level engineering background before or alongside this role
• Strong C#/.NET experience in a production environment
• Hands-on experience with serverless AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, Step Functions, etc.)
• Experience owning a service end-to-end in production, not just contributing to one
• Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated environment (PCI DSS, SOC 2, financial services or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal English, with a track record of working closely with UK/US teams across time zones
• Experience producing and presenting technical designs to senior engineering stakeholders
• Some prior team lead or mentoring experience, formal or informal
• Experience using AI-assisted workflows to improve engineering quality and productivity, and reduce delivery risk
