Job summary

BMW TechWorks India Private Limited is seeking an experienced engineer to advance exterior lighting parts development. You will work on post-production phase steering, data management, and interface coordination using CATIA V5 and Digital Mockup tools.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods for exterior lighting parts and PRISMA data handling is required. Fluency in German is a plus, and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Very good CATIA V5 skills, especially Generative Shape Design, Part Design, Drafting, and Digital Mockup.
• Good knowledge of the PRISMA database for publication and data management.
• Experience with collision checks and integration of characteristics, tolerances, and identification in drawings.
• Excellent communication to coordinate with interface partners.
• Understanding of exterior lighting parts manufacturing methods.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing technologies for Exterior Lighting Parts.

• Concept development of Exterior Lighting Parts.

Leading Development during the phase of post-production, Change Management, Release management, target management, Cost reduction, Steering changes etc.

Experience in virtual vehicle development and understanding of mechanical relationships of Headlamp and Taillamp

Knowledge of common manufacturing methods for Exterior Lighting Parts.

Excellent communication skills to coordinate independently with interface partners

Ability to manage and maintain data and documentation in accordance with BMW standards

Must have technical skills.

Very good skills in CATIA V5, especially in Generative Shape Design, Part Design, Drafting, and Digital Mockup

Good knowledge of the PRISMA database for publication and data management

Experience with collision checks and integration of special characteristics, tolerances, and component identification in drawings.

Good Technical skills

Familiarity with different manufacturing technologies Exterior Lighting Parts.

Understanding of fixation parts and assembly processes
