Job summary

SANMINA-SCI TECHNOLOGY INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced engineer for Jigs and Fixture development, validation, and preventive maintenance to support production tooling. The role emphasizes 5S, CAPA, and Kaizen, with close supplier coordination to ensure on-time delivery.

Applicants should have Diploma or BE in EEE/ECE/E&I/Mech with extensive experience, and a proven track record in tool qualification, continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives across manufacturing lines.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE with extensive engineering experience in tooling and fixtures.
• Experience with qualification and preventive maintenance of jigs/fixtures.
• Strong problem solving using structured methods (CAPA, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Jigs and Fixture development, Validation, Qualification and Preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time fixture delivery.
• Modify jigs/fixtures in-house for product rev changes.
• Arrange jigs/fixtures with 5S housekeeping on racks.
• Reduce downtime through tooling improvements.
• Collaborate with CFT for process tooling upgrades.
• Provide CAPA for tooling-related issues.
• Lead Kaizen, continuous improvement and cost-saving projects.
• Participate in EHS activities, report hazards to supervisors.

Academic Qualification / Job Qualification

• Diploma in EEE/ECE/E & I/Mech with more than 15 years experience (or)
• BE in EEE/ECR/E&I/Mech with more than 12 years experience

Skills / Competence Required To Perform The Job

• Hard Working and Flexible.
• Knowledge in GC Prevue.
• Having good analysis skill for solving the problem
• Knowledge of 8D, 4M, CAPA, Six Sigma problem Solving methodology.

Responsibilities

• Jigs and Fixture development, Validation, Qualification and Preventive maintenance.
• Jigs and Fixture coordinate and continuous follow up with supplier for on time delivery.
• Jigs and fixtures in-house modification for product rev change.
• Jigs and fixtures arrangements in the rack and 5S maintaining
• Downtime reduction.
• Co-ordinate with CFT for Process Tooling improvements.
• CAPA need to be provided for tooling process related issues.
• Involve and lead Kaizen, Continuous improvement and Cost saving projects.
• Active participation in EHS related activities like Identification of aspects and Impacts, HIRA, Emergency preparedness , continuous improvements etc and enable to report about hazardous situations to respective supervisor / department managers as required.

Authority

• Authorized to take quick and correct decisions with respect to the Jigs and Fixture development as per the WI and Customer requirements.
• Authorized to take prompt decisions with respect to the downtime reduction.
