Job summary

KNOLSKAPE is seeking a Team Lead - DevOps to lead the DevOps team, deploy product updates, and improve deployment processes for educational platforms and products.

With extensive cloud experience and a focus on automation, you will drive CI/CD pipelines, observability, and secure operations, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building infrastructure with Cloud Providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container infrastructure and orchestration.
• Cloud-based tools and services including VMs, SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis.
• Experience with SCM and CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab.
• CI/CD pipelines with YAML and GitLab knowledge.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform; scripting in Shell/Python.
• Observability tools for log management, metrics, alerts.
• Experience deploying NodeJS/PHP/LAMP framework clusters.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
• Create pipelines to provision and deploy large-scale systems and microservices.
• Instrument monitoring health and availability with fault detection, alerting, triage, and recovery.

Team Lead - DevOps

KNOLSKAPE is looking for a Engineer, who can lead DevOps team to help us build Educational platforms and products that make learning experiential for leaders of the world.

Team Lead - DevOps responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in working with cloud technologies, setting up efficient deployment processes, and are motivated to work with diverse and talented teams, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely.

Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience in building infrastructure experience with Cloud Providers ( AWS / Azure / GCP)

Experience in Distributed systems like Docker and Kubernetes – Container infrastructure and orchestration.

Cloud based tools and services – Virtual machines (VMs), SQL, MongoDB, Message queues like RabbitMQ, Redis etc.

Source code management tools (SCM) and CI/CD tools, preferably Gitlab

CI/CD - Good experience in building pipelines with YAML-based knowledge of the GitLab environment.

Infrastructure as code - Experience with Terraform preferred.

Experience in writing automation scripts using Terraform, Shell and Python.

Observability – experience in using tools for log management, metric dashboards, error tracing, setting up alerts.

Good experience in building pipelines with YAML-based knowledge of the GitLab environment.

Exposure to web applications, deploying/operating NodeJS/PHP/LAMP framework-based clusters with infrastructure.

Desire to learn new technologies while supporting existing

Roles and Responsibilities

End to End-building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.

Build CI/CD pipelines to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large-scale systems and Microservices.

Develop and implement instrumentation for monitoring the health and availability of services including fault detection, alerting, triage, and recovery (automated and manual)

Develop, improve, and thoroughly document operational practices and procedures.

Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes you are responsible for securing our infrastructure.

Agile software development practices

Lead team of DevOps engineers, guide them to perform their tasks.

Help team to learn better DevOps practices and improve in day-to-day activities.

Able to build relationships, be culturally sensitive, have goal alignment, have learning agility.
