My CPE seeks a Team Lead – US Audit to manage engagements, review workpapers, and lead a team for NPO, EBP, and financial audits. The role demands strong client interaction, technical audit expertise, and effective team management.

You will plan and execute audits with GAAP/GAAS standards, review deliverables, mentor juniors, and coordinate with clients to ensure timely, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of US Audit experience (NPO/EBP/Financial audits preferred).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS.
• Experience reviewing work and leading small teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and review audits for NPO, EBP, and financial audits in accordance with US GAAP and GAAS.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans to address identified risks.
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Review audit documentation, workpapers, and ensure quality and completeness.
• Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and reports to clients.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a key point of contact for client coordination and engagement management.
• Mentor and guide junior team members; review their work for accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient audit delivery.
