Job summary

Bahwan Cybertek Group in Chennai is seeking a semi-qualified CA/CPA/ACCA to lead in-charge roles on small to mid-size audit engagements. You will perform audit procedures, supervise associates, and help deliver engagements within budget and deadlines.

The role requires strong knowledge of US GAAP/GAAS, excellent communication, and ability to mentor junior staff while ensuring quality documentation and client communication. CPA licensure pursued or obtained is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be semi-qualified CA, CPA, or ACCA with audit exposure.
• Experience performing audit procedures and supervising teams is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit procedures on small to mid-size engagements.
• Develop understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, and industry-specific accounting principles.
• Perform engagement planning and risk assessment activities.
• Research technical accounting issues and propose solutions.

• Develop understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, and industry-specific accounting principles
• Perform engagement planning and risk assessment activities
• Research technical accounting issues and propose solutions
• Supervise and review work of junior staff; provide feedback and training
• Prepare draft financial statements and note disclosures
• Ensure audit documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted timely
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Monitor project budgets and deadlines
• Support professional development plans and pursue CPA licensure
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting
