Job summary

3M is seeking a senior IT leader to drive a global Client Virtualization capability, delivering secure, reliable, and scalable virtual app, desktop, and cloud PC services. You will guide teams, manage operations, and set strategic direction across end-user computing services.

We require 10+ years in IT with virtualization/cloud, and 6+ years leading global teams with stakeholders, vendors, and support. Strong emphasis on security, automation, and ITSM will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, computer science, MIS, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant IT experience, including virtualization, infrastructure, cloud services, service management, or technical leadership.
• 6+ years supporting client virtualization or DaaS platforms such as Citrix, Windows 365, VMware Horizon, or Amazon Workspaces.
• 4-5+ years leading technical teams and coordinating global operations with stakeholders, vendors, and support teams.
• Strong expertise in end-user computing, virtualization, cloud, identity, security, automation, and IT service management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global Client Virtualization capability delivering secure, reliable, and scalable virtual app, desktop, and cloud PC services while guiding teams, overseeing operations, providing technical direction, and driving continuous improvement across end-user computing services.
• Owning operational execution and continuous improvement for Client Virtualization services, including service quality, risk management, process improvement, milestones, escalations, and critical initiatives aligned to business and IT priorities.
• Partnering with IT leadership, vendors, infrastructure teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to resolve complex service, platform, and stakeholder issues while translating technical topics into clear business and operational impacts
• Improving reliability, security, compliance, cost efficiency, and user experience through incident, problem, change, vulnerability management, service governance, KPI monitoring, licensing oversight, and operational risk reduction

• Leading and developing the global Client Virtualization team, including employees and contract resources, while setting priorities, managing workload, coaching team members, supporting development, and remaining accountable for service outcomes.
• Owning operational execution and continuous improvement for Client Virtualization services, including service quality, risk management, process improvement, milestones, escalations, and critical initiatives aligned to business and IT priorities.
• Partnering with IT leadership, vendors, infrastructure teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to resolve complex service, platform, and stakeholder issues while translating technical topics into clear business and operational impacts

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, computer science, MIS, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant IT experience, including virtualization, infrastructure, cloud services, service management, or technical leadership.
• 6+ years supporting client virtualization or DaaS platforms such as Citrix, Windows 365, VMware Horizon, or Amazon Workspaces.
• 4-5+ years leading technical teams and coordinating global operations with stakeholders, vendors, and support teams.
• Strong expertise in end-user computing, virtualization, cloud, identity, security, automation, and IT service management practices.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Hands-on experience with Citrix, Windows 365 Cloud PC, Microsoft 365, Windows platforms, Azure/AWS, hybrid cloud, networking, storage, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, IAM, Group Policy, and access governance.
• Experience in security remediation, vulnerability management, patching, compliance, automation/scripting, ITSM processes, service reporting, KPI monitoring, documentation, and knowledge management.
• Experience working with global stakeholders across regions.
• Strong English communication, analytical, documentation, planning, influencing, and leadership skills.
