Job summary

Amazon in Lucknow, UP is seeking a Team Lead for our Delivery center. You will oversee shift operations at our DCs and support the DC manager in performance management and driving the operational plan.

You will lead the delivery process from the delivery station to customer addresses, ensure adequate bandwidth during peak times, and drive continuous process improvements and training to raise delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer-facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Experience with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Defining, building and executing the delivery process from delivery station to customer address.
• Ensure enough bandwidth in territorial delivery team to ensure peak time delivery management.
• Engage closely with the delivery team, developing and maintaining a highly motivated and performance driven team.
• Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance, through process and training improvements.
• Analysis of the data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Implement the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen.

Essential Functions


- Working with the Center manager to ensure smooth functioning of the operations
-Executing the delivery process from delivery station to customer address
- Ensure enough bandwidth in delivery team to ensure peak time delivery management
- Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement

Analytical Skills: Effectively analyses and interpret information, identifying & validating the key facts, including reviewing alternatives to determine advantages and associated risks.


Key job responsibilities

Implement the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kai zen.

Good communication skills. Ability to communicate and explain to individuals & the team, what needs to be achieved for the Delivery Center /Amazon to achieve its objectives.

Strong Bias for great customer service: Engage the Team in developing their understanding of Customer Experience and knowledge of what Customers actually needs/expects.

High Ownership: Follows through to ensure the delivery of changes/solutions/services that fulfill the Customer’s needs.

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
