Job summary

Amazon in Pune is seeking a Team Lead to manage shift operations at the Delivery Center and support the DC manager with performance management and driving the operational plan.

You will collaborate with the Center manager to ensure smooth transportation operations, execute the delivery process from the delivery station to customer addresses, and drive peak-time delivery performance while continuously improving processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Understand transport operations and identify strengths/weaknesses for improvement.
• Map business requirements, understand business process, study and analyze workflows, design solutions and prepare functional specifications.
• Be data driven, develop and report performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to identify opportunities for improving Customer Experience.
• Deep dive into emerging industry practices and apply to solving business problems.
• Design, develop, pilot & rollout enterprise-wide programs around performance improvement and delivery experience.

We're seeking a Team lead for our Delivery center. In this role you will be responsible for shift operations at our DCs and support the DC manager in performance management and driving the operational plan.

Essential Functions

• Working with the Center manager to ensure smooth function of the Amazon transportation operations in Pune
• Executing the delivery process from delivery station to customer address
• Ensure enough bandwidth in delivery team to ensure peak time delivery management
• Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement

Key job responsibilities

• Quickly understand the business issues and challenges of Transportations operations; identify strengths/weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement
• Map business requirements, understand business process, study and analyze workflows, design solutions and prepare functional specifications
• Be data driven, develop and report performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to identify potential opportunities for improving Customer Experience.
• Deep dive and acquire an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply when solving business problems.
• Design, develop, pilot & rollout enterprise wide programs around performance improvement, cycle time improvement for returns, delivery experience, financial auditing, identification of alternate delivery services etc.,

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
