Tenneco Pune is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Production Operations leader to supervise daily shop-floor activities in a high-precision welding environment. The role requires hands-on expertise in robotic welding (ABB / Motoman), MIG and TIG processes, and strong SAP/ERP know-how.

You will drive safety, quality, and 5S standards while leading shift teams and coordinating with maintenance and quality functions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in robotic welding cells with leadership exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing operations and shift supervision.
• Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes and related safety/quality standards.
• Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems for production planning and control.

Responsabilités

• Oversee manufacturing/production operations on the shop floor.
• Lead and supervise welding teams across shifts.
• Ensure adherence to 5S, safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality functions for continuous improvements.

Role & responsibilities

• 5-9 years of experience in Manufacturing / Production Operations
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Robotic Welding (ABB / Motoman)
• Strong knowledge of MIG & TIG Welding Processes
• Experience in Team Handling / Shift Supervision
• Knowledge of SAP / ERP Systems
• Understanding of 5S, 7QC Tools, Safety & Quality Standards
• Excellent Leadership, Communication & Problem-Solving Skills
• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Production Engineering or related field

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience in robotic welding cells
• Strong people management and shop-floor leadership skills
• Ability to work in shifts
• Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of leading from the front
