Job summary

Revrr Technologies is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead based in India to guide a distributed team supporting Search and ML platforms. The role blends hands-on software design with leadership, delivery management, and close collaboration with US partners.

You will mentor offshore engineers, shape architecture for full-stack tools, and ensure robust CI/CD, Spark pipelines, and reliable operations in a cloud environment (AWS/Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 7–8 years of software engineering experience in cloud, distributed systems, or platform engineering
• Experience leading offshore contractors / distributed global teams
• Proficiency in React frontend and Java/Python backend
• Hands-on Spark data pipelines experience
• Strong Linux, Kubernetes, AWS / EKS knowledge

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead based in India to lead a team supporting Search and Machine Learning platforms. This role combines hands-on engineering, team leadership, delivery management, and close collaboration with engineering partners in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage contractors, including work planning, technical guidance, delivery tracking, and performance feedback.
• Design and develop frontend and backend tools for monitoring ML inference services and visualising Search CI/CD and release workflows.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, daily release sign-off, and deployment operations for Search and ML services.
• Maintain and optimise Spark-based data pipelines for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, testing, documentation, security, and operational standards.
• Communicate progress, dependencies, and delivery risks clearly to US stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science.
• At least 7-8 years of relevant software engineering experience, with a focus on cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, full-stack development, or platform engineering.
• Demonstrated experience leading offshore engineers or contractors as part of a distributed global team.
• Proven experience leading contractors or offshore engineering teams within a distributed global organisation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to learn large-scale, complex systems methodically and quickly.
• Full-stack development experience with frontend frameworks such as React and backend technologies such as Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience developing or operating Spark-based data pipelines.
• In-depth understanding of Linux environments, Kubernetes, AWS, and Amazon EKS.
