Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead/Engineering Manager to lead a team of freshers and junior engineers while driving the delivery of DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, and Agentic AI initiatives. The role is based in Bengaluru with hybrid work options and a strong emphasis on mentoring and delivery.

You will design and improve CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes platforms, implement infrastructure as code, and drive reliability through SRE practices.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in DevOps/SRE/leadership roles.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and freshers.
• Strong background in CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on practice with Kubernetes and modern observability.

Technical Lead / Engineering Manager — DevOps, SRE & Agentic AI Experience 8–10 Years Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid Preferred)

Role Summary We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead/Engineering Manager to lead a team of freshers and junior engineers while driving the delivery of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, and Agentic AI initiatives. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, capable of mentoring engineers, driving execution, and implementing engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior engineers and freshers.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Drive SRE practices including reliability, incident management, root cause analysis, and operational excellence.
• Implement and standardize observability using modern monitoring and logging platforms.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering and Agentic AI solutions to improve engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable platforms.

Required Technical Skills
