Role Overview - We are seeking a creative and reflective Grade 2 Educator who thrives on bringing concepts to life through playful pedagogy and hands-on activities. In this role, you will lead a vibrant classroom environment, designing and implementing learning experiences that integrate concrete materials, interactive storytelling, and activity-based learning across core subjects (with a strong emphasis on foundational literacy and numeracy).

You won't just teach from a textbook; you will curate experiences that encourage young learners to question, build, test, and collaborate.

• Classroom Facilitation & Culture: Maintain a warm, inclusive, and emotionally safe classroom environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, self-expression, and cooperative social skills among Grade 2 students.
• Formative Assessment & Progress Tracking: Observe and document individual student learning journeys through qualitative assessments, portfolios, and observation logs rather than relying solely on traditional testing.
• Resource Development: Collaborate on crafting learning aids, classroom kits, and activity guides that turn abstract ideas into tangible, interactive experiences.
• Community & Parent Engagement: Maintain open, supportive communication with parents regarding children’s holistic development, learning milestones, and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications, skills and mindsets .

• Recent graduates, College student (any stream final year, or engaged in online degree courses), DEd/BEd (preferred)
• No previous teaching experience needed, but could be an advantage
