Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Foundational Academic Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, activity-based lessons across core primary subjects (English LSRW, foundational Mathematics/Data Thinking, and Environmental Studies/Science).
• Literacy & Phonics Mastery: Execute structured phonics, guided reading, and vocabulary frameworks to build early reading fluency and creative writing confidence in Grade 1 students.
• Classroom Management & Well-being: Foster a warm, inclusive, low-stress classroom culture that helps young learners build independence, emotional regulation, and positive learning habits.
• Tech-Integrated Pedagogy: Utilize smartboard tools, interactive learning aids, and internal school management platforms to track student progress and enhance learning delivery.
• Parent Communication: Maintain open, professional, and regular updates with parents regarding student developmental milestones, academic progress, and classroom activities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Graduate/Post-graduate with a B.Ed, D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education), or NTT (Nursery Teacher Training).
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of teaching experience in Grade 1 or Primary classes within reputed CISCE, CBSE, or International (Cambridge/IB) schools.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional command of spoken and written English, paired with an empathetic, child-centric approach.
• Pedagogical Understanding: Strong background in early childhood developmental psychology, activity-based teaching methods, and phonics frameworks.
