Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for routing, switching, wireless connectivity, and firewall configurations.
• Oversee and manage firewalls (Check Point, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Monitor and optimize LAN, WAN, and wireless performance.
• Implement and maintain network security policies, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Manage wireless networks and site surveys, AP placement, and WPA2/WPA3 security.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware patches, and hardware replacements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Lead incident and problem management with timely escalation and closure.
• Monitor network health and generate performance/incident reports.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and data center teams for enterprise alignment.
• Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Network Design & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and industry best practices.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for complex network issues, including routing, switching, wireless connectivity, and firewall configurations.
• Firewall Management: Oversee and manage firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc.), ensuring secure network traffic and protecting the network from unauthorized access.
• Optimization & Performance Tuning: Continuously monitor and optimize LAN, WAN, and wireless performance, including latency, bandwidth utilization, and high availability.
• Security Solutions: Implement and maintain network security policies, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of resources.
• Wireless Network Management: Manage and optimize wireless networks, including site surveys, AP placement, and wireless security protocols (WPA2/WPA3).
• Network Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware patches, and hardware replacements.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
