Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring for Network Data & Security in India. The role requires hands-on firewall experience across multiple vendors, strong routing and switching skills, and expertise in dynamic routing protocols. Knowledge of STP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, and wireless technologies is valued.

Candidates with CCNA or higher networking certification are desirable, and shift flexibility is required. Location options include Bangalore and Hyderabad; the team will rely on robust troubleshooting

Qualifications

• HHands-on experience with firewall devices (Cisco/CheckPoint/Palo Alto/Juniper/Fortigate or others).
• Strong Routing and Switching fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of dynamic routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VRF.
• Strong understanding of STP, RSTP, MSTP, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP.
• Knowledge of Nexus Switching (VPC, VDC, OTV) an advantage.
• Experience with routers/switches from Cisco/Juniper/HP/Aruba.
• Knowledge of Wireless tech (Cisco/Aruba); Wireless Controllers and APs an advantage.
• CCNA and relevant higher networking certification desirable.
• Must be flexible in shifts.

Experience: 7-10

Must have:

• should have hands on experience in any one or multiple Firewall ( Cisco / CheckPoint/ PaloAlto/Juniper/Fortigate or others )
• must be Strong on Routing - Switching
• Strong Concept and troubleshoot abilities of dynamics Routing Protocols like Eigrp, OSPF, BGP , Vrf
• Strong Concept and troubleshoot abilities on , STP, RSTP, MSTP, HSRP , VRRP , GLBP, DHCP
• Knowledge in Nexus Switching VPC , VDC , OTV will be added advantages
• Hands on experience on Cisco , Juniper , HP, Aruba ( Any one or Multiple) routers and Switches
• Knowledge on Upgrade and replacement of Routers and Switches on respective technologies.
• Knowledge on Wireless technology (Cisco/Aruba), and Concept on Wireless Controller , Access points will be added advantage
• CCNA and relavanet or Higher N/w certification is desirable
