Must-Have

• Candidate should have extensive knowledge in SQL Server Technologies with at least 4+ years of experience.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2014/2016/2017/2019, with over 3+ years of experience with SQL 2016 & SQL 2017.
• Design, configure, implement, and administer all databases for the respective parties involved.
• Possess and apply broad knowledge of database principles and practices.
• Identify and resolve issues related to database systems to ensure systems are online and without service interruption.
• Experience with automating DBA tasks, database tuning, and capacity planning.
• Resolve Database Access Requests, Incidents & remediated CIS Compliance db items.
• Provide On Call DBA Support during weekday off-peak hours & weekends as needed.
• Analyze and report on the performance of database operations against key metrics.
• Meet performance standards in accordance with service level agreements.
• Experience troubleshooting Databases using Diagnostic & Compliance Management tools.
• Work on production issues in performance tuning, blocking/locking/deadlocks, Mirroring, Always On, memory pressure, CPU, I/O latency, and capacity management.
• Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery Solutions using SQL Server Always On Technology.
• Manage small/medium databases & VLDBs ranging from 10GB to 5TB.
• Implement & maintain standard SQL Maintenance Jobs.
• Be a self-starter and handle Prod Issues & Projects independently.
• Collaborate with customers and SMEs to provide sustainable solutions for critical Database design and development across applications.
• Develop an overall database architecture that supports business needs in a scalable and secure environment.
• Implement & maintain HADR solutions such as Always On, Mirroring, and Replication.
• Have experience in Azure Cloud Migration, both PaaS & IaaS solutions.
• Experience in Database Backup, Recovery, & Monitoring solutions.
• Solid experience troubleshooting Database issues in Prod & Non-Prod environments.
• Extensive experience in Performance Tuning of queries and stored procedures & optimizing execution plans for faster responses.
• Experience troubleshooting SSIS packages with heterogeneous data sources & destinations.
• Experience developing Reports using SSRS.
