Job summary

Siro Clinpharm in India is seeking an experienced Data Network Engineer with 8+ years in Data Center Networking, Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, and network security. The candidate will design, implement, troubleshoot, document, and consult customers on enterprise networks, focusing on Cisco Nexus, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

The role involves working with Fortinet/Palo Alto, Zscaler, Infoblox, and F5 BIG-IP technologies to secure and optimize large-scale networks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data/enterprise networking experience.
• Hands-on with Cisco Data Center, Nexus switching, and WAN design.
• Experience with firewall, VPN, and security platforms (Fortinet/Palo Alto).

Responsibilities

• Provide network design inputs, planning recommendations, strategic roadmaps, and network policy guidance.
• Design and implement Data Center networks using Cisco Nexus and advanced switching technologies.
• Work on FHRP, VPC, VDC, VSS and other advanced Cisco switching technologies.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot large-scale WAN networks using MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Configure, validate, test, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
• Support network transformation, data center migration, network refresh, and WAN implementation projects.
• Work with firewall and VPN technologies, including Fortinet and Palo Alto.
• Support network security solution design and implementation using Zscaler.
• Design and implement Cisco Wireless LAN solutions using WLC, LWAP, WCS, and CleanAir.
• Work with DNS/DHCP solutions, preferably Infoblox.
• Support configuration and testing of F5 BIG-IP/load balancer solutions.
• Review HLD/LLD, BOMs, network diagrams, technical designs, and acceptance test plans.
• Prepare and maintain as-built documentation, network drawings, technical presentations, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, engineers, vendors, and WAN service providers.
• Participate in service reviews, audits, network improvement initiatives, and technical discussions.
• Lead technical troubleshooting, issue resolution, and escalation management.
• Understand technical and business requirements and translate them into effective network solutions.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Network Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in Data Center Networking, Routing & Switching, LAN, Wireless LAN, WAN, and Network Security. The candidate will be responsible for network design, implementation, transformation, troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing consulting activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Fortinet/Palo Alto, Cisco Wireless, Zscaler, Infoblox, and F5 BIG-IP technologies.
