Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP, a Baker Tilly International member, seeks a Tax Senior Associate in Kochi to lead client engagements in corporate and partnership taxation. You will plan tax strategies, prepare and review returns, and coach junior staff while ensuring timely deliverables for diverse clients.

Required are 3+ years in U.S. taxation, CPA/CA eligibility, and strong communication skills, with flexibility for overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred, or eligibility to obtain certification on hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. taxation.
• Experience in a public accounting firm with corporate (1120) and partnership (1065) tax returns.
• Strong client service skills, ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services.
• Devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues.
• Prepare and review returns for corporate, partnership, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state and local tax returns.
• Support Tax Staff in delivering, including coaching and reviewing their work.
• Review extensions and quarterly estimates.
