Industrial Light & Magic is seeking a Talent Coordinator who reflects the collaborative spirit and passion for filmmaking that define the studio. This role provides administrative support to the Talent team, assisting with crew planning, capacity tracking, and broader support for CG artists, Production, Art, and Editorial teams.
The Talent Coordinator helps maintain team operations and ensures smooth coordination between departments while supporting the daily needs of artists and production staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update crewing and capacity spreadsheets and internal databases.
- Generate and compile reports from crewing databases.
- Coordinate and support regular departmental and CG status meetings.
- Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, and distribute them when required.
- Organize onboarding activities for new starters, including training coordination and seating arrangements.
- Work closely with Talent Managers to support daily team operations.
- Assist artists with day to day requests such as inquiries, absence tracking, and identifying upcoming project opportunities.
- Maintain confidential records and databases, including show credits and demo reel requests.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Talent team.
- Support planning and coordination of internal events across ILM departments.
- Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a fast paced administrative environment, preferably within VFX or games production.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
