Job summary

OCS Services seeks an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead for India (Mumbai) to drive recruitment across offshore and onshore operations, FPSO, rigs, marine, and engineering roles. You will lead the India TA team, partner with senior management, and deliver a high-performing recruitment model focused on safety, efficiency and quality.

You should have an engineering background and 8–15 years total experience, including 6+ years in TA and 3+ years in leadership, preferably in oil & gas.

• Oil & gas industry experience is highly desirable.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead, India to lead Talent Acquisition delivery across OCS Services India operations, covering both offshore and onshore recruitment.

The role will be responsible for building and managing a consistent, high-performing recruitment model to attract and secure the technical, operational and professional talent required across our business. The successful candidate will lead the India Talent Acquisition team and oversee recruitment delivery, processes, systems, talent data and performance reporting.

This is a leadership role requiring a strong understanding of the oil & gas industry, engineering and technical recruitment, along with proven Talent Acquisition leadership capability.

Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Lead will lead recruitment across India for FPSO and wellhead projects, oil & gas manning, rigs and drilling, marine vessels and tankers, engineering and project roles, site personnel, and corporate and support functions.

The role will work closely with senior management, Operations, Engineering, HR, crewing teams and other stakeholders to ensure recruitment requirements are effectively planned, sourced, assessed and delivered.

What you will do

• Lead Talent Acquisition across India, covering offshore and onshore recruitment requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop the India recruitment team, establishing clear ownership, priorities, service standards and accountability.
• Partner with senior management and business leaders on workforce planning, demand forecasting and talent acquisition strategies.
• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from approved manpower requests and role definition through sourcing, screening, interviews, client approvals, offer acceptance and onboarding support.
• Build proactive talent pools and maintain an accurate internal CV database for critical and hard-to-fill offshore, marine, engineering, technical and project positions.
• Manage recruitment agencies, manning partners, job boards, social media, professional networks, industry platforms and employee referrals.
• Establish and govern consistent recruitment processes, trackers, systems and talent databases across India.
• Oversee candidate screening, interview coordination, evaluation and client-specific CV submission and approval processes.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, feedback and recruitment support.
• Partner with the SVP ICM, Head of Talent Acquisition International, hiring managers, Operations, Engineering, HR, crewing teams and Digital Technology.
• Support and guide hiring managers on effective interviewing, candidate evaluation and recruitment best practices.
• Track and report recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire and quality of hire.
• Drive continuous improvement in recruitment systems, processes and tools to improve efficiency, candidate experience, speed, quality and cost.
• Develop employer branding initiatives and represent OCS at industry events, job fairs and networking forums.
• Monitor talent market trends and recruitment best practices to maintain a competitive Talent Acquisition approach.

What we are looking for

• Engineering qualification and/or strong professional engineering background.
• 8–15 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 6 years in Talent Acquisition, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
• At least 3 years of recruitment leadership or people-management experience.
• Significant experience in the oil & gas industry, ideally across offshore operations, FPSOs, rigs, drilling, production, marine, engineering or project environments.
• Strong experience recruiting engineering, technical and operational personnel, including high-volume offshore, crew, rotational, site and project recruitment.
• Ability to understand and challenge technical requirements and engage credibly with engineering and operational leaders.
• Experience establishing and improving recruitment processes, systems, talent databases and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with senior business leaders, technical managers, clients and external talent networks.
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach to recruitment performance and decision-making.
• Strong communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, change management, cultural awareness and resilience in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Experience with client CV submission and approval processes will be an advantage.
• Experience managing recruitment agencies, manning partners and local sourcing networks is desirable.
• International recruitment and FPSO understanding will be an advantage.
