Job description

Job Overview

TAC Engg (SME) will provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot network issues pertaining to the Private 5G network being deployed. The individual will handle escalated issues from field locations and must have strong technical expertise in RAN elements (eNB, gNB, SC and WiFi APs) with a focus on minimizing network downtime and performance degradation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fault Management of RAN Nodes (eNB, gNB, SC and WiFi APs)
2. Incident Ticket Handling and Escalation
3. Handling escalated case within defined MTTR
4. Handling Service issues raised by customer for performance degradation, latency issues
5. Coordinate with Core, Transmission, IP and other teams to ensure end‑to‑end troubleshooting
6. Collaborate with vendors for troubleshooting and resolving equipment‑related issues
7. Conduct routine Network Audits and corrections to ensure high network Availability
8. Participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions and prepare MOP/SOP to improve Field Operations team capabilities
9. Fault restoration within SLA
10. Ability to handle high latency issues
11. Field call handling with end‑to‑end fault support
12. Service/Performance issue handling associated with Private 5G network
13. Alarm Analysis and mitigations to keep alarm‑free network
14. Periodic Audit of configuration parameters and corrections
15. Providing detailed RCA for critical and catastrophic outages & preparing a plan of action to mitigate recurrence of such incidents

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of LTE, WiFi and 5G RAN and Core technologies
• Experience with network management systems (NMS) in multi‑vendor scenarios
• Proficiency in fault and performance management for RAN elements
• Hands‑on experience with radio network troubleshooting and performance analysis tools
• Knowledge of IP networking and routing
