Job summary

Purview Services in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Mainframe z/OS System Programmer to support IBM Z hardware and complex z/OS environments. You will handle SMP/E, z/OSMF, RACF, SYSPLEX, and HMC administration, with a focus on reliability and 24x7 production operations.

Responsibilities include z/OS upgrades, security patching, ARC recovery, diagnostics (SVC Dump, IPCS, LOGREC, EREP), and occasional REXX automation. COBOL/LE, Java runtime, and Windows experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer with IBM Z hardware support.
• Hands-on SMP/E, z/OSMF, RACF, SYSPLEX, HMC administration.
• Strong z/OS diagnostics: SVC Dump, LOGREC, IPCS, EREP, GTF, SLIP.
• REXX programming for system exits, utilities, and automation.
• Experience in z/OS upgrades, security patching, ARC recovery, and 24x7 production support.
