Job summary

IntraEdge is seeking an experienced CICS Systems Programmer to manage enterprise-scale CICS environments on IBM z/OS. The role covers installation, maintenance, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and 24x7 production support for mission-critical applications across PAN India.

The candidate will work with DB2, IBM MQ, IMS, RACF and mainframe tools like OMEGAMON, MainView, and TMON, ensuring high availability and SLA compliance. 7+ years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in CICS Systems Programming/Administration.
• Strong experience with IBM CICS Transaction Server.
• Hands-on expertise in z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and SMP/E.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMON.
• Good troubleshooting and production support experience, including dump/abend analysis.
• Working knowledge of DB2, IBM MQ, IMS, and RACF.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a 24x7 production support environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain CICS Transaction Server environments.
• Perform CICS administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Support CICS regions, resource definitions, and production environments.
• Apply software maintenance and upgrades using SMP/E.
• Analyze and resolve production issues, system dumps, and CICS abends.
• Work closely with application teams and infrastructure teams to support business-critical systems.
• Integrate CICS with DB2, IBM MQ, and IMS.
• Support disaster recovery activities, production implementations, and on-call rotations.
• Monitor system health using OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMON.
• Ensure high availability and compliance with SLA requirements.

Role Overview
