Job summary

SalesForce-ad is seeking a Systems Engineer to administer and manage Finance systems and applications supporting Salesforce end-to-end processes. You will collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to resolve issues, analyze trends, and implement enhancements to reduce support requests.

The role requires agility to handle multiple priorities and expertise in Workday Financials alongside related tools and analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• 4–9 years of hands-on expertise in Workday Financials modules.
• Knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations.
• Expertise in production support (L2/L3), incident and problem management.
• Certified Workday expert in at-least one Financial module.
• Experience with Accounting Center and Prism Analytics for finance data transformation.
• Familiar with Workday Releases and Community features.
• Perform root-cause analysis and preventive solutions.
• Experience in a SOX compliant environment.
• Experience in AI/agentic workflow transformation.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.

Systems Engineer will be the primary process expert in their service area and will work in collaboration with developers, business stakeholders, and other technology teams in support of Salesforce end to end business processes. Daily activities will include, but are not limited to, enterprise application support, resolving technical and functional system issues, performing trend analysis and identifying enhancements to reduce support requests, and collaborating with development teams to implement new and enhanced functionality. Required Skills

• 4-9 years of Hands-on expertise in any of the Workday Financials modules (Account Receivables, Payables, Assets, GL, Banking & Settlement).
• Working knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio, BIRT and EIBs.
• Expertise in Workday Fundamentals and Financial Functional Configurations.
• Expertise in handling production support cases (L2/L3), incident management and problem management.
• Certified Workday expert in at-least one of the Financial module.
• Experience in Accounting Center and Prism Analytics for finance data transformation and reporting.
• Well-versed with Workday Community and latest features/enhancements of Workday Releases.
• Analyze and resolve complex configuration, automation, data, security, and integration issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive solutions rather than relying on workarounds.
• Experience working in a SOX compliant environment.
• Demonstrate experience through AI/agentic workflow transformation, including redesigning processes to incorporate AI agents alongside human support engineers.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual business processes and improve operational efficiency.

Desired Skills/Experience

• Experience in global ERP implementation especially implementations related to North America , EMEA, APAC countries
• Experience working as part of a Scrum team practicing Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial cloud applications.
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform or Mulesoft Cloud hub is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of Coupa, Concur or other Financials SaaS applications will be an added advantage.
