Job summary

Leadout Capital seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to administer and optimize Finance systems, focusing on Workday Financials across AR, AP, GL, and related modules. You will collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to support end-to-end business processes, resolve complex issues, and drive enhancements through automation and AI-driven workflows.

You will also handle production support (L2/L3), perform root-cause analysis, and ensure SOX-compliant operations

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience (AR, AP, Assets, GL, Banking & Settlement)
• Experience with Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio, BIRT and EIBs
• Expertise in production support (L2/L3) and incident/problem management
• Certified Workday expert in at least one Financial module
• Experience with Accounting Center and Prism Analytics for finance data transformation and reporting
• Knowledge of Workday Community and latest Workday Releases features/enhancements
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex configuration, automation, data, security, and integration issues
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive solutions
• Experience in a SOX compliant environment
• Demonstrated AI/agentic workflow transformation experience
• Identify opportunities to automate manual business processes and improve efficiency

Job Details & Key Responsibilities

Systems Engineer is responsible for administering and managing the Finance systems & applications that support our mission critical business processes. Systems Engineer will be the primary process expert in their service area and will work in collaboration with developers, business stakeholders, and other technology teams in support of Salesforce end to end business processes. Daily activities will include, but are not limited to, enterprise application support, resolving technical and functional system issues, performing trend analysis and identifying enhancements to reduce support requests, and collaborating with development teams to implement new and enhanced functionality. The successful candidate must be agile and able to support multiple priorities.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Hands-on expertise in any of the Workday Financials modules (Account Receivables, Payables, Assets, GL, Banking & Settlement).
• Working knowledge of Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields, Integrations framework, Studio, BIRT and EIBs.
• Expertise in Workday Fundamentals and Financial Functional Configurations.
• Expertise in handling production support cases (L2/L3), incident management and problem management.
• Certified Workday expert in at-least one of the Financial module.
• Experience in Accounting Center and Prism Analytics for finance data transformation and reporting.
• Well-versed with Workday Community and latest features/enhancements of Workday Releases.
• Analyze and resolve complex configuration, automation, data, security, and integration issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive solutions rather than relying on workarounds.
• Experience working in a SOX compliant environment.
• Demonstrate experience through AI/agentic workflow transformation, including redesigning processes to incorporate AI agents alongside human support engineers.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience in global ERP implementation especially implementations related to North America , EMEA, APAC countries
• Experience working as part of a Scrum team practicing Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial cloud applications.
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform or Mulesoft Cloud hub is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of Coupa, Concur or other Financials SaaS applications will be an added advantage.
