Job summary

Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Chennai seeks a Systems Engineer to design and maintain product configuration models using SAP VC or similar tools. You will translate rules into configuration logic, model configurable BOMs, and work with XML interfaces across engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong analytical skills with the ability to learn proprietary tools and architectures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related disciplines.
• 4–6 years of overall experience.
• Experience with SAP Variant Configuration (VC/LO-VC/AVC) or similar configurator platforms such as Tacton, Configit, Rulestream, Oracle Configurator, etc.
• Strong understanding of configurable products, BOMs, and product structures.
• Ability to understand and work with XML-based integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn proprietary tools and system architectures.
