Job summary

Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Chennai seeks an Electrical System Engineer Low Voltage for Datacenters. You will configure LV distribution systems, align interfaces with customers, and implement technical requirements.

Responsibilities include FAT/FWT tests on site and in our factories, drafting assembly and commissioning plans, and coordinating with factories, project managers and the lead engineer. 10% external location and 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in power/electrical engineering.
• 5–9 years of experience in projects.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems and protection systems.
• Knowledge of IEC standards (IEC 61439).
• Flexible work attitude, practical and result-oriented.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Engineering activities such as:

Configuration of LV distribution systems and alignment of interfaces with our customers;

Implementation of technical requirements

Write assembly and commissioning plans;

Perform FAT and FWT test on site and in our factories;

Main point of contact to our factories;

Monitor the progress of the work and solve technical issues;

Use your skills to move the world forward!

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in power engineering / electrical engineering.

5-9 years of experience in projects.

Experience with electrical distribution systems and protection systems;

Knowledge of applicable IEC standards (IEC 61439)

Flexible work attitude, practical and result-oriented;

Communicative, involved, stress-resistant and able to act within a hectic environment;

Willing to work on external location (10% on external location);

Excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken;

40-hour workweek.
