Job summary

FIS Bengaluru is seeking a System Administrator with Windows Server, VMware and Azure expertise to join a US shift and on-call rotation. You will manage hosted, on-premise and cloud environments, provide 24x7 support, and collaborate across teams to maintain high availability and security.

The role requires 6–9 years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and hands-on administration of Citrix, M365, Intune, and Azure AD. Join a global FinTech leader with broad IT responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills to identify issues across multiple areas.
• Independent and collaborative troubleshooting, with ability to escalate when needed.
• Proven experience with systems engineering and administration of large scale systems.
• Extensive VMware and virtualization skills; certification preferred.
• PowerShell scripting to manage hosted infrastructure.
• Experience with Hypervisor/ESXi server builds.
• Extensive experience with MS Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 operating systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, network monitoring and DNS/LDAP/SSL/TLS protocols.
• Experience deploying and supporting multi-tier applications.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

• Manage and maintain customer servers in hosted, on-premise, and cloud environments.

• Azure AD administration, MFA, and SSO.
• Server builds and application deployments.
• Assist with audits and vulnerability remediations.
• Coordinate with incident management teams to resolve outages.

FIS Managed IT group provides support and implementation solutions to customers throughout the U.S. Our engineers work to provide support, design solutions, hardware systems, and provide top-tier customer service.

What you will be doing

• Provide Wintel support for the hosted systems.
• Support escalations from engineers for day to day and projects
• Serve as the subject matter expert of customer environments
• Expert in Windows Server 2012+ Administration
• Expert in Windows 10+ OS Desktop administration
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for other engineers on your team
• Manage and maintain customer server environments in our hosted platform, on-premise (remotely), and cloud native environments
• Manage and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops as well as maintenance of Citrix backend infrastructure
• M365 Migrations and Tenant Administration
• Microsoft Intune Administration (including auto-pilot)
• Azure AD Administration, MFA, and Single Sign On
• Server Builds and application deployments
• Assist with audit and vulnerability remediations for workstation and server environments as needed
• Working with various teams and managed incident management teams to resolve support escalations and outages
• Proactive maintenance of the hosted systems.
• Expand platforms as necessary and refine processes for better environment performance

What you bring :

• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills to identify issues that could cross multiple business areas/teams and technologies
• Expert in independent and collaborative troubleshooting, critical thinking, and the ability to know when to elevate
• Proven experience performing systems engineering and administration with large scale systems.
• Extensive VMWare and virtualization skills, preferably VMware certified but not required.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting to manage hosted infrastructure
• Experience with server hardware, for example Hypervisor or ESXI server builds
• Extensive experience with MS server 2012, 2016, and 2019 operating systems
• TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools and technical writing principles and practices
• Strong understanding of SSL, Internet (SMTP, LDAP, DNS), TLS, and other networking protocols.
• Experience with deploying and supporting multi-tier applications.
• Ability to participate in On-call rotation schedule
