Job summary

Valeo is seeking an experienced Front Camera Systems Engineer in Chennai, India, to contribute to ADAS solutions and Front Camera hardware architecture. The role involves validation, HIL work, and KPI analysis across CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet networks, with a strong emphasis on safety standards (ASPICE/ISO26262).

You will engage with customers and internal teams to resolve issues, ensure robust system design, and support end-to-end Front Camera development lifecycles in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Front Camera functions
• Front Camera hardware and system architecture expertise for ADAS
• Vehicle validation exposure for Front Camera functions: AEB, TSR, AHL/AHB
• HIL exposure and KPI preparation through log/vehicle trace analysis
• Experience in analyzing customer-reported issues and resolutions
• Good vehicle communication knowledge: CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet
• Knowledge of ASPICE & ISO26262 and functional safety
• Experience with DOORS, CodeBeamer & CoreALM for requirements/configuration management
• Knowledge of MobilEye EyeQ components

Responsibilities

• Analyze and coordinate Front Camera system issues and performance
• Support validation activities for ADAS features and end-user scenarios
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues
• Analyze logs and traces to derive KPIs and improvement actions
• Maintain system engineering artifacts and requirements using tools

Good experience Front Camera System functions especially TSR/Light functions (AHL/LTA/ADB) with Product knowledge and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Front Camera functions

• Strong knowledge and Expertise in Front Camera Hardware and System Architecture for ADAS solutions
• Knowledge of MobilEye EyeQ Components
• Vehicle validation exposure for the Front Camera End user functions AEB, TSR, AHL/AHB
• HIL exposure for Front Camera functions and Good experience in Visualization and analysis of log file & Vehicle traces and KPI preparation
• Experienced in analyzing & handling the Customer reported issues and possess skills in problem resolution and management
• Good understanding on Vehicle communication based on CAN, CAN-FD and Ethernet
• Strong in System engineering principles and Requirements writing with good Knowledge in ASPICE & ISO26262
• Good experience in handling the Customer discussions and internal stakeholders
• Knowledge in Functional Safety and Cyber Security for Front Camera functions and product
• Requirement management tools DOORs, Code Beamer & Configuration management tools such as CoreALM
