Job summary

Valeo in India is seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer with 5+ years in RADAR development for ADAS applications. You will work on radar hardware, system architecture, and validation across BSD, FCW, RCW, and AEB functions.

Responsibilities include customer issue resolution, HIL testing, KPI analysis, and seamless integration with CAN/CAN-FD/Ethernet networks, while following ASPICE and ISO26262 safety standards. Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of RADAR experience
• Good knowledge of RADAR hardware and ASPICE/ISO26262
• Experience with CAN/CAN-FD/Ethernet and vehicle communication
• Familiarity with HIL testing and KPI reporting
• Experience with customer interactions and issue resolution

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve customer-reported RADAR issues
• Contribute to system engineering and requirements writing
• Support vehicle validation for BSD/FCW/RCW/AEB
• Lead HIL testing for RADAR functions
• Prepare Radar KPIs and vehicle traces

Job description

Good experience RADAR System functions (Detection, Blockage Avoidance, Interference, Calibration and RADAR Perception) with Product knowledge and a minimum of 5 years of experience in RADAR

• - Strong knowledge and Expertise in RADAR Hardware and System Architecture for ADAS solutions
• - Experience on Vehicle Braking and Brake ECU
• - Experience on system service function (Dignostics, Flashability, FOTA, etc) development.
• - Vehicle validation exposure for the RADAR End user functions BSD, FCW, RCW, AEB etc and
• - HIL exposure for RADAR functions and Good experience in Visualization and analysis of Radar PointClound & Vehicle traces and KPI preparation
• - Experienced in analyzing & handling the Customer reported issues and possess skills in problem resolution and management
• - Good understanding on Vehicle communication based on CAN, CAN-FD and Ethernet
• - Strong in System engineering principles and Requirements writing with good Knowledge in ASPICE & ISO26262
• - Good experience in handling the Customer discussions and internal stakeholders
• - Knowledge in Functional Safety and Cyber Security for RADAR functions and product
• - Requirement management tools DOORs, Code Beamer & Configuration management tools such as CoreALM
