Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with VHAL, APSDK/NSDK, Kernel/Drivers, RTOS, AOSP, or virtualization.
• Experience with automotive networks (CAN, LIN) and vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop Android-based system for vehicle cluster and infotainment applications.
• Integrate with Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer (VHAL) and interface with hardware sensors.
• Develop and maintain components using APSDK/NSDK and customize AOSP for vehicle apps.

Systems Engineer is part of the in-house product engineering team that has been setup to create

technical differentiation and intellectual property in the domain of Software Defined Vehicle (SDV). This role will be part of the team for developing, integrating, troubleshooting middleware and system for the vehicle cluster

Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for development activities by working with various stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to

• Development: Android-based system for cluster, facilitating system applications and infotainment applications.
• Integration and Implementation: Work with VHAL (Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer) to interface with vehicle-specific hardware and sensors. Implement and maintain custom drivers for various vehicle peripherals.
• Functionalities: Develop and maintain components using APSDK or NSDK to support complex infotainment functionalities. Customize AOSP (Android Open Source Project) for specific vehicle applications and functionalities.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware integration issues in the system for vehicle cluster. Contribute to AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and customize it for specific vehicle applications
• Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless interaction between software and vehicle systems. Team up with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
• Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards for safety and reliability in automotive environments. Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Maintain thorough documentation for all development activities and system configurations.
