Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a System Administrator in Chennai to manage and optimize the SolarWinds environment. You will work on SolarWinds Orion modules, SQL optimization, and networking fundamentals to elevate monitoring capabilities.

You will lead a small team, handle client queries, configure event correlation to reduce false alarms, and develop PowerShell scripts for automation. Familiarity with ITSM/API integrations (ServiceNow, Moogsoft) is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with SolarWinds Orion modules (NPM, SAM, NTA, etc.).
• SQL optimization for SolarWinds database.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow).
• Experience elevating and optimizing SolarWinds environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess the existing SolarWinds environment and propose improvements.
• Implement optimization and performance tuning.
• Lead a team and handle client queries.
