Job summary

Cisive India seeks a skilled server administrator to implement, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot complex server environments including Windows Server, VMware, AD, Exchange, and cloud services. You will oversee capacity, security, and reliability while coordinating with teams and subcontractors.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and teamwork, with a hybrid office pattern in New Delhi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with servers, VMware, AD, Exchange and backup software.
• Professional IT certifications in Microsoft, VMware, and AWS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement, upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot server systems including operating systems, software, compute server, storage, virtualization, email, Active Directory and cloud.
• Monitor and troubleshoot server performance (availability, capacity, and utilization).

Job description

This role is responsible for implementation, support and troubleshooting of server systems including operating systems, software, compute server, storage, virtualization, email, Active Directory and cloud. The role includes providing input into new and existing server configuration. This role will conduct analysis of specification requirements, as well as development and implementation of standards and procedures. Will also conduct system audit reviews and perform maintenance functions as required to ensure system health.

Work Requirements:

This is a hybrid model role, requiring employees to work from the office 2 to 3 days per week. At Mohan Estate, Delhi. Work Location - New Delhi The position follows a five-day workweek, Working hours or days may vary as per work requirements.

Technical Skill Set :-

• Servers: Windows Server 2022, 2016 Datacenter, DNS, DHCP Server, Web Server IIS, SQL Server 2016. VMware, Virtual Server, ESXi Server, Monitoring Server etc
• Directory Services: Active Directory Server 2022 & 2016
• Web Server: IIS Server, FTP Server, SMTP Server etc
• Mail Server: Microsoft Exchange Server, Office 365 etc

Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with computer servers, storage, VMware, Exchange, Active Directory, Antivirus, Group Policy and Backup software.
• Professional IT Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, and AWS preferred

Required Skills:

• Ability to implement, administer and troubleshoot server infrastructure (operating systems, software, compute server, storage, virtualization and cloud)
• Ability to manage small projects, work in a team or independently under minimal supervision
• In-depth knowledge of server infrastructure (operating systems, software, compute server, storage, virtualization, and cloud).
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP.
• In-depth knowledge of Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Planning and testing.
• Ability to work in a team or independently under minimal supervision.
• Good problem solving, communications, time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Symantec, Veeam, NetBackup, Citrix, AWS, Nutanix, Azure preferred.
• Knowledge SharePoint, sFTP, Windows printer server routers, Solarwinds, Wireshark, preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to provide off hour support for implementations, upgrades, testing and troubleshooting.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
