This role is responsible for implementation, support and troubleshooting of server systems including operating systems, software, compute server, storage, virtualization, email, Active Directory and cloud. The role includes providing input into new and existing server configuration. This role will conduct analysis of specification requirements, as well as development and implementation of standards and procedures. Will also conduct system audit reviews and perform maintenance functions as required to ensure system health.
This is a hybrid model role, requiring employees to work from the office 2 days per week. Work Location - New Delhi The position follows a five‑day workweek, Monday through Friday. Flexible Working Hours.
Implement, upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot server systems including operating systems, software, compute server, storage, virtualization, email, Active Directory, and cloud. Monitor and troubleshoot server performance (availability, capacity, and utilization). Procure server equipment and manage subcontractors involved with server installations. Provide server technical support directly to users and through ticketing systems. Create technical support documentation for server systems and processes. Coordinate additional resources needed to accomplish tasks and projects. Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures. Escalate service requests as needed to meet client expectations. Participate in supporting server projects and initiatives. Provide on‑call and remote troubleshooting support as needed.
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience 3+ years of hands‑on experience with computer servers, storage, VMware, Exchange, Active Directory, Antivirus, Group Policy and Backup software. Professional IT Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, and AWS preferred.
Ability to implement, administer and troubleshoot server infrastructure (operating systems, software, compute server, storage, virtualization and cloud) Ability to manage small projects, work in a team or independently under minimal supervision In‑depth knowledge of server infrastructure (operating systems, software, compute server, storage, virtualization, and cloud). In‑depth knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP. In‑depth knowledge of Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Planning and testing. Ability to work in a team or independently under minimal supervision. Good problem solving, communications, time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of Symantec, Veeam, NetBackup, Citrix, AWS, Nutanix, Azure preferred. Knowledge SharePoint, sFTP, Windows printer server routers, Solarwinds, Wireshark, preferred. Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Ability to provide off hours support for implementations, upgrades, testing and troubleshooting. Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
