Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/CS, or engineering with relevant experience.
  • Strong Linux system administration, troubleshooting and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with identity management (AD/LDAP/Kerberos/SSSD/PAM).
  • Knowledge of Linux security, SELinux, and system hardening.
  • Experience with enterprise storage and network connectivity.
  • Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain enterprise Linux/RHEL environments.
  • Perform system tuning, patching, upgrades and lifecycle management.
  • Manage Linux authentication and identity services (AD, LDAP, Kerberos, SSSD, PAM).
  • Implement SELinux policies, security hardening and best practices.
  • Manage enterprise storage, including NFS, multipathing and storage connectivity.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates, renewals and secure communications.
  • Develop scripts/automation to improve admin efficiency.
  • Monitor system health, logs and performance with observability tools.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Support hybrid infrastructure across on-prem and cloud.

Role overview

We are looking for a System Administrator to manage, secure and maintain enterprise Linux environments, primarily RHEL, ensuring high availability, performance, security and compliance. The role will involve system administration, troubleshooting, identity management, storage, security hardening, monitoring and infrastructure automation.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, security and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable and secure IT infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.

Key responsibilities
  • Administer, troubleshoot, monitor and maintain enterprise Linux/RHEL environments.
  • Perform system performance tuning, patching, upgrades and lifecycle management.
  • Manage Linux authentication and identity services, including AD, LDAP, Kerberos, SSSD and PAM.
  • Implement SELinux policies, security hardening and Linux security best practices.
  • Manage enterprise storage, including NFS, multipathing and storage connectivity.
