Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and other key IT tools to manage and optimize our environments as well as those of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in device management, automation, security, and compliance, with the capability to support complex environments and lead cross-functional IT projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Azure Administration: Manage and maintain Azure environments for our organization and clients, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
• Windows Device Management: Lead the administration of Windows devices using Microsoft Intune to enforce compliance with security and organizational standards.
• Microsoft Intune Administration: Lead comprehensive device management efforts through Microsoft Intune, covering:
• Configuration, deployment, and management of Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android devices.
• Policy enforcement to ensure all managed devices comply with organizational security and usage standards.
• Implementation of Mobile Application Management (MAM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) within Intune to safeguard corporate data.
• Oversight of app deployment and patching across managed devices to maintain productivity and security.
• MacOS Device Management: Oversee MacOS device management with JAMF, ensuring security, performance, and policy compliance.
• Patch Management: Lead patch management for all devices, utilizing Intune, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, and other tools to maintain up-to-date, secure systems.
• IT Service Management (ITSM) Tools: Administer and optimize IPC monitoring tools, such as JIRA, Fresh Servi e, ServiceNow, and Service Desk, ensuring efficient tracking and resolution of service requests.
• Generative AI Tools: Leverage Generative AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve operational efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure all devices and systems meet security and regulatory compliance standards, proactively addressing vulnerabilities.
• Advanced Technical Support: Provide expert-level support to corporate and client users via a ticketing system, troubleshooting complex issues efficiently.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation on systems, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to support technology initiatives and projects
• Process Knowledge on: Agile Methodologies, ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

Basic Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in system administration or a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure and Intune.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows device management using Microsoft Intune; familiarity with MacOS device management using Intune and JAMF.
  • Expertise in patch management tools and processes, especially with Intune and ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including user and group management, role-based access control (RBAC), SSO, and Microsoft Entra services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell for automation, reporting, and compliance tasks within Azure.
  • Experience in Microsoft Autopilot for efficient end-user device configuration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with backup solutions, such as Veeam and Veritas, for data protection and recovery.
  • Knowledge of GenAI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to enhance productivity and efficiency

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
