Job summary

Ascent Business Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking a System Administrator with 1–4 years of experience. The role covers system management, network administration, and security/compliance, with 0–15 days notice.

The candidate will provide Tier 1 and 2 support, maintain documentation, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure uptime and security. Male candidates Prefered.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in system administration and IT support.
• Strong knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, and core system services.
• Ability to install, configure and maintain servers and software.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and system health.
• Ensure security, compliance, and regular patching of systems.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues.

Key Skills:

System Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software.
• Knowledge in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other system services.
• Perform regular updates and patches to maintain security and system performance.

Network Administration:

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
• Ensure proper configuration and optimization of network components.
• Implement and manage network security protocols to protect the company from external threats.

Security & Compliance:

• Perform regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations.

Troubleshooting & Support:

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including user account issues and server downtimes.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical problems.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, downtime, and security incidents.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other IT staff, developers, and end-users to understand their technical requirements.
