Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and network validation activities for Infotainment and Telematics solutions.
• Manage worldwide validation activities for SIV or BT+USB+Entertainment, HMI, and Audio modules on various Infotainment & Telematics platforms.
• Conduct automatic, semi-automatic, and manual validation.
• Run automated scripts and analyze issues in detail.
• Perform multimedia testing (Image/Video Editor, Video Player, Image Viewer, FM Radio, Voice Recorder, Conversation Recorder, Media Player, MM framework).
• Execute audio, video, Wi‑Fi streaming, USB, and media testing with Automotive HU.
• Report weekly status of validation activity to the coordinator.

About the Position

We are looking for a Software Infotainment Test Engineer. This position is based at our office in Bangalore.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Perform functional and network validation activities for Infotainment and Telematics solutions.
• Manage worldwide validation activities for SIV or BT+USB+Entertainment, HMI, and Audio modules on various Infotainment & Telematics platforms.
• Conduct automatic, semi‑automatic, and manual validation.
• Run automated scripts and analyze issues in detail.
• Perform multimedia testing (Image/Video Editor, Video Player, Image Viewer, FM Radio, Voice Recorder, Conversation Recorder, Media Player, MM framework).
• Execute audio, video, Wi‑Fi streaming, USB, and media testing with Automotive HU.
• Report weekly status of validation activity to the coordinator.

What Qualifications you will bring:

• B‑Tech in Electronics / ECE / Electronic & Electrical (only).

Other skills that we would welcome:

• Knowledge of automotive embedded electronic products, preferably Infotainment & Telematics experience.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as RTH, Elvis, TAF, Jira.
• Experience in verification and validation of automotive embedded products, preferably Infotainment & Telematics.
• Previous work experience in I&T projects and use of bug management/reporting/tracking tools; exposure to full SDLC in Telematics projects preferred.
• Knowledge of protocols such as CAN, LIN, KWP, and ISO14229 diagnostic protocol.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, NI LabVIEW, TestStand.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages CAPL and Embedded C.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience writing test plans, understanding use cases, executing test activities, and compiling test reports.
• Experience in firmware testing with HCI‑level system validation and end‑product testing.
• Knowledge of CMM guidelines and experience with configuration management tools (e.g., DOORS, JIRA).
• Ability to design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
